Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment, modules, and sub-assemblies according to technical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Install and fit mechanical components, electrical parts, pneumatic tubing, and other equipment assemblies.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Conduct alignment, adjustment, inspection, and basic functional testing of assembled equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot assembly defects, equipment abnormalities, and installation issues.
• Perform basic wiring, cable routing, and electrical connections according to approved instructions, where applicable.
• Ensure all assembly activities comply with quality standards, safety procedures, and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate assembly records, inspection reports, and testing documentation.
• Support equipment installation, machine integration, and production line setup when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the assembly area according to 5S standards.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to resolve assembly and equipment issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in equipment assembly, semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, or precision manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and work instructions.
• Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, pneumatics, or equipment integration.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing / equipment assembly environment in Penang.
• May involve standing for extended periods, handling components, and working with hand tools.
• Overtime may be required based on production schedules.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
