Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the commercial team in managing tendering and pre-contract activities for M&E projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and scope requirements to develop preliminary quantities and cost assessments.
- Prepare pricing inputs, cost comparisons and budgetary estimates based on project requirements and prevailing rates.
- Source and engage suppliers/subcontractors for quotations, technical inputs and commercial evaluation.
- Conduct site visits to understand existing conditions, installation requirements and potential cost or technical implications.
- Assist with tender clarifications, exclusions, qualifications and commercial submissions prior to bid closing.
- Track material, labour and subcontractor pricing to maintain current cost benchmarks for future tenders.
- Work with engineering, procurement and project teams to resolve scope, quantity and documentation discrepancies.
- Upon award, compile and transfer relevant pricing, quantity and tender information to the project execution team.
- Support tender presentations, commercial discussions and other pre-contract matters while providing practical site-based input.
