Job Title: AI Implementation Engineer

Department: Construction & Engineering Operations

Level: Mid-Senior

Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote/Hybrid)

Reports To: COO / Leadership

Role Overview

The AI Implementation Engineer is responsible for transforming business workflows into practical AI-driven automation solutions. This role focuses on solving real operational problems by reducing manual work, improving reporting, and enabling data-driven decision-making across construction and engineering operations.

  • Workflow Analysis & Automation Design
  • Analyse and document existing workflows across operations, project management, and reporting
  • Identify high-impact areas for automation (manual effort, errors, delays)
  • Design simple, effective automation solutions
  • Build and deploy AI agents to automate business tasks
  • Integrate AI solutions with tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, CRMs, and project platforms
  • Develop prompt libraries and structured AI workflows
  • Create document processing pipelines for data extraction and routing
  • Automate operational and project reporting
  • Build data pipelines connecting systems like Procore to structured outputs
  • Implement basic RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) solutions
  • Work closely with leadership and subject matter experts
  • Document solutions for internal use and scalability
  • Support knowledge transfer and handover of automations to internal teams

Required

  • Experience with AI agent tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot Agents)
  • Proficiency in Antigravity (Agent Manager, *************)
  • Experience with Google AI ecosystem (Gemini, Vertex AI, Firebase)
  • Strong programming skills (Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript)
  • API integration experience (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.)
  • Prompt engineering expertise
  • Data pipeline development experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with RAG and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate)
  • Familiarity with construction/engineering tools (e.g., Procore, Aconex)
  • Ability to build simple internal dashboards
  • Git/version control knowledge

  • Understand key workflows
  • Identify automation opportunities
  • Deliver at least one working solution

First 90 Days:

  • Deploy multiple automations
  • Improve reporting processes
  • Develop AI implementation roadmap

12 Months:

  • Scale AI across multiple business functions
  • Improve efficiency and accuracy of operations
  • Establish internal capability for AI adoption
