About the role

As the Senior QA Manager at PAN-INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONICS (M) SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing operations. This full-time position is based in Perai, Penang and will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control processes across our diverse product lines.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality targets

2. Leading a team of quality assurance professionals to monitor production processes, analyse data and identify areas for improvement

3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

4. Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and resolve quality-related problems

5. Ensuring all products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements

6. Documenting and reporting on quality metrics, trends and corrective actions

7. Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field

2. Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry

3. Strong technical expertise in quality control methodologies, such as statistical process control, Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles

4. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of quality assurance professionals

5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail

6. Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations, standards and best practices

7. Proficient in data analysis and report writing
