Manager, Academy Sales & Operations
Duties
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Growth & Market Expansion
Execute aggressive sales strategies targeting both Chamber members and the broader business community.
Conduct needs analyses for SMEs and large corporate clients to secure high-value, bespoke training contracts.
Design and scale innovative, recurring revenue sales models.
Operational & Digital Excellence
Oversee the end-to-end execution of all Academy activities, including executive education courses and major youth initiatives.
Manage trainer negotiations, program logistics, and day-to-day delivery.
Direct digital transformation projects to automate operational workflows and ensure system scalability.
Establish and monitor team KPIs for revenue growth, market penetration, and participant satisfaction.
Strategic & Institutional Leadership
Support the Director in transitioning the Academy toward formal accreditation and professional recognition schemes.
Assist in developing executive leadership courses, youth programmes, industry competitions, and flagship awards.
Identify and secure government-backed grants and subsidies to ensure commercial sustainability.
Directly manage and mentor the Assistant Manager, Training Academy.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Education, Training & Development, or a related field.
6–8+ years of progressive experience in commercial sales, corporate training management, or executive education management.
At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading cross-functional teams.
Proven track record in B2B sales, corporate training development, or executive education management.
Strong operational background with experience managing full project lifecycles and event logistics.
Demonstrated experience driving digital adoption, process automation, or workflow optimization.
Familiarity with educational frameworks, accreditation, or securing government/institutional grants is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
