Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general repair and maintenance works at the facility.
• Perform minor works involving carpentry, plumbing, painting, tiling and basic electrical.
• Attend to maintenance requests and breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify defects or maintenance issues.
• Assist technicians and the facilities team with maintenance activities.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Support preventive maintenance and ad-hoc maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and site requirements.
• Record completed works and report any major defects to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / SKM or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in building maintenance, handyman work or facilities management is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of general building repair and maintenance.
• Able to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Practical, responsible and willing to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work on-site at MITEC.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends or public holidays when required.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
