About the Role

We are looking for hardworking, responsible and motivated individuals to join our team as **Food Production Assitant **in our food manufacturing facility.

Depending on your skills and suitability, you may be assigned to Production, Packing or Warehouse operations. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for SPM school leavers and candidates with no prior experience to start or develop their career in the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Production

• Assist in daily food production activities according to company SOP, production schedules and work instructions.
• Operate production machinery and equipment safely after proper training.
• Prepare, handle and transfer raw materials and finished products as required.
• Monitor production processes and ensure products meet the required quality standards.
• Report any machine abnormalities, product defects or production issues to the supervisor immediately.

Packing

• Perform product packing, labelling, sealing and checking according to company requirements.
• Ensure correct product quantity, packaging and labelling before products are released.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing area at all times.
• Assist with product inspection and ensure defective or damaged products are properly identified.

Warehouse

• Assist with receiving, storing, picking and issuing of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
• Ensure products are properly stored and arranged according to company procedures.
• Perform stock counting and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Practise FIFO/FEFO where applicable to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize product expiry or wastage.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods safely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety and proper housekeeping.

General Responsibilities

• Strictly follow company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, quality and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping within the assigned work area.
• Work closely with team members to achieve daily production and operational targets.
• Attend training provided by the company and continuously improve work skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Fresh graduates and SPM school leavers are encouraged to apply.
• No prior working experience is required – training will be provided.
• Able to work in a food manufacturing environment and follow established SOPs.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving standing, lifting and movement as required by the job.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends or public holidays when required by the operation.

Added Advantages

• Previous experience in food & beverage / food manufacturing / FMCG manufacturing is highly encouraged.
• Possess a valid Food Handling Training Certificate.
• Possess a valid typhoid vaccination.
• For Warehouse placement: Forklift licence/certification or experience operating a forklift will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP or related practices will be an advantage.
