Responsibilities

This position will be based at 55 Ubi Ave 1 #03-14 S408935


FairPrice Group is looking for a energetic Trading Associate to join the team. Reporting to the Trading Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations and growth of the AIC-SMF business, managing orders, responding to customer enquiries and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. The incumbent will report to the Trading Manager and support the growth and day-to-day operations of the Trading business, with a focus on AIC-SMF business.
  2. Key responsibilities include processing of orders accurately and efficiently while providing a high standard of customer service.
  3. Handle and respond promptly to customer enquiries relating to orders, delivery status, and other Trading matters.
  4. Work closely with internal teams, including Operations and Logistics, to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
  5. Proactively identify operational issues, recommend improvements and implement appropriate solutions to minimize business disruptions.
  6. Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, corporate governance, risk management, audit and SOP requirements.
  7. Support assigned projects and other business initiatives, and prepare reports as directed by the Reporting officer.
  8. Acknowledge and process orders in the system, updating clients of the delivery and payment arrangements.
  9. Process SMF-AIC orders via phone calls and Vertis platform. To upsell as required.
  10. Attend to clients’ queries pertaining to logistic arrangements, product knowledge, feedback etc.
  11. Maintain an organised and systematic filing system for documents and paperwork on a daily basis.
  12. Perform any other duties as assigned.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • GCE A Levels or Polytechnic Diploma


RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service and administration.
  • IT knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
