Job Responsibilities

• Operate and drive side loader trucks safely for the transportation and delivery of containers.
• Perform loading, unloading, lifting, and positioning of containers using the side loader equipment.
• Ensure containers are properly secured and safely handled during transportation.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and side loader equipment.
• Check the condition of containers and report any damage, defects, or abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and instructions from the Operations/Transport team.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of containers to designated locations, ports, warehouses, or customer premises.
• Complete and maintain required delivery documents, trip sheets, Delivery Orders (DO), and other transportation records.
• Comply with all road safety regulations, company policies, and transportation procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the assigned truck and equipment.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, delays, or other operational issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse personnel, port personnel, and other relevant parties.
• Assist with other transportation-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid GDL (Goods Driving Licence) and E Bersendi License and appropriate driving licence for the assigned vehicle.
• Experience in driving side loader/container trucks is preferred.
• Previous experience in container haulage, logistics, or transportation will be an advantage.
• Familiar with port, warehouse, and container handling procedures.
• Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and able to perform duties involving loading/unloading and container handling.
• Responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, or according to operational requirements when necessary.
• Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
