L3 Network & Security Engineer (Resident Engineer) – Malaysia (Klang Valley)

Employment: 1-Year Contract( Renewable every year)
Work Mode: Monday–Friday (Normal Hours)
Onboarding: 1st Sept
Note: Must be willing to support after office hours/weekends for critical issues (no extra pay).

Experience

• 7+ years in Network & Security Operations (L3 Support)
• Strong troubleshooting in Enterprise Network & Security environments
• Scripting/Automation experience preferred

Mandatory Skills

• CCNA or higher certification
• Security certification (CCSP/Fortinet/Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Cisco/Juniper)
• Routing & Switching (Cisco/Fortinet/Juniper)
• BGP, OSPF, RIP, Static Routing
• VLAN, STP, ACL, NAT, VPN (IPSec, GRE, Site-to-Site)
• Firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, Juniper
• Proxy: Broadcom Bluecoat/Symantec, Sophos
• F5 LTM & WAF
• LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V
• Incident, Problem & Change Management (ITIL)
• Configuration Backup, OS/IOS Upgrades, Disaster Recovery
• CMDB & Patch Management

Key Responsibilities

• L3 support for Network & Security infrastructure
• Design, implementation, troubleshooting & optimization
• Lead major incidents, RCA & technical escalations
• Handle change implementation and risk analysis
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers
• Support customer infrastructure remotely and onsite when required
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure security compliance
