Responsibilities

• As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
• Expert proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS is required. Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow Field Service Management is suggested.
• Analyze complex software issues and develop effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business-critical applications.
• Lead efforts to document troubleshooting processes and share knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
• Proactively identify potential system risks and recommend improvements to prevent future disruptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new tools and technologies relevant to application support.

Requirements

• A Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
• At least 3-4 years of working experience in information technology.
