Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Development and Delivery
Design and Build Develop, test, and deploy robust automation solutions using a combination of RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), based on business requirements.
Requirement Gathering Collaborate with business users and stakeholders across divisions to gather, analyse, and document business process requirements suitable for automation and low-code solutions.
Process Mapping Create detailed process maps and Solution Design Documents (SDD) to ensure alignment between business needs and the technical solution across RPA and low-code implementations.
Quality Assurance Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure automation solutions (bots, apps, and workflows) are accurate, reliable, and perform as expected.
Documentation Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation for all developed automation solutions, including bots, apps, and workflows.
Consultancy Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on RPA and Power Platform capabilities, feasibility, best practices, and potential business impact of automation initiatives.
Citizen Development and Training
Engagement Actively support MPA’s Automation Citizen Development Programme by guiding staff in developing automations using both RPA tools and Microsoft Power Platform.
Training Assistance Assist in the development of training materials, guides, and workshops to onboard and upskill citizen developers in low-code and automation tools.
Governance Ensure that citizen-developed solutions (bots, apps, and workflows) adhere to the competency centre’s governance, security, and quality standards, including Power Platform governance practices.
