Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and leading daily production activities within the assigned shift or production area. The role ensures machines operate efficiently, production targets are achieved, product quality requirements are met, and operators follow established procedures.

Key Resposibilities:

a) Production Management

· Plan, coordinate and monitor daily injection molding production activities.

· Ensure production schedules are achieved according to planner forecast.

· Manage manpower allocation to ensure optimum operational efficiency.

· Ensure production output meets daily, weekly & monthly targets.

· Support daily production meeting & any improvement meeting.

b) Process Control

· Ensure molding processes operate with approved process parameters.

· Review and approve process changes when necessary.

· Monitor process stability and product quality performance.

· Lead process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

· Support process validation, mold trials, and new product introductions.

c) Technical Leadership

· Provide technical guidance to Senior Technicians, Technicians, and Junior Technicians.

· Lead troubleshooting activities for major process and quality issues.

· Review recurring defects and implement corrective actions.

· Coordinate with Process Engineers and Maintenance teams to resolve technical problems.

d) Maintenance & 5s

· Coordinate with maintenance team on machine and tooling team on mold issues.

· Support preventive maintenance activities.

· Ensure scheduled waste and non-scheduled waste (recyclable waste and domestic waste) are properly handled, controlled, stored, and disposed of to ensure compliance with legal requirements

· Ensure implementation and sustainability of 5S practices.

· Conduct workplace inspections and housekeeping audits

e) Documentation

· Ensure daily checklist and parameter records are well update.

· Records and analyze production downtime.

Supporting Responsibilities:

· Support ISO, customer, and regulatory audits.

· Ensure departmental compliance with documented procedures.

· Review and update SOPs, work instructions, and process standards.

· Organize technical training and skill development programs.

· Verify technician competency and certification requirements.

· Mentor future technical leaders within the department.

Requirements:

· Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and thermoplastic polymer.

· Experiences in RCA & CAPA

· Ability to troubleshoot complex defects and optimize the parameter.

· Familiarity with automation systems and robotic handling systems is advantage.

Qualifications:

· Experiences more than 8 years.

· Sijil or diploma level or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,100.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
