JD for Development Planning Engineer

We're looking for a skilled R&D Engineer to join our Research & Development team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for managing R&D assets, coordinating testing operations, maintaining workspace standards, and handling technical documentation compliance. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Here's The Main Job Description:

1. Manage R&D tools and equipment lifecycle, including sending instruments for calibration, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, asset replacement, and VGI preparation.

2. Conduct and arrange comprehensive chiller testing (both in-house and third-party), overseeing test procedures, equipment preparation, physical test setup, and formal test reports.

3. Lead and handle R&D safety compliance and 5S activities across the R&D storage areas and main office environments.

4. Handle R&D stock movement documentation and inventory logistics, including Material Transfer Notices (MTN), stock adjustments, and Return Goods Delivery Notes (RGDN).

5. Interpret international/regional technical regulations and establish country-specific interpretation sheets for product compliance.

6. Manage technical document translations accurately utilizing online translator tools and cross-referencing engineering terms.

7. Maintain an updated master list of R&D software & hardware assets and actively initiate software license renewals to ensure zero operational downtime.

8. Support cross-functional engineering teams by ensuring all laboratory equipment and documentation align with project timelines and company standards.

What We're Looking For:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical/scientific field.

2. A solid understanding of laboratory equipment management, calibration standards, and 5S frameworks.

3. Proven ability to coordinate complex product testing procedures and manage detailed technical documentation.

4. The capacity to contribute across various roles, including asset coordination, safety compliance, and regulatory interpretation.

5. An analytical mindset with a knack for streamlining inventory documentation and optimizing equipment uptime.

6. Exceptional skills in cross-functional collaboration, multi-tasking, and maintaining high accuracy in engineering records.

7. Willing to accept new challenges and support laboratory localization workflows.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
