Scope:
We are looking for analytical, motivated and high-potential individuals to join our expanding Business Valuation team in Hong Kong.
This role is ideal for candidates with a finance, accounting or analytics background who are keen to build a long-term career in valuation and corporate advisory, and who are eager to develop strong financial modelling and commercial judgment skills through structured training and on-the-job exposure.
Analysts and Senior Analysts will gain hands-on experience in a wide range of valuation assignments, working closely with Directors, Managers and senior team members.
What you will be doing?
Perform business valuations for financial reporting purposes (e.g. purchase price allocation, impairment testing, fair value measurement) under HKFRS, IFRS and US GAAP
Assist in valuations for transaction purposes , including acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructuring
Build and review financial models , including DCF, sensitivity analysis and comparable analysis
Conduct industry, market and company research , including data collection and analysis
Assist in preparing valuation reports, proposals and client presentation materials
Support M&A advisory, financial modelling and other corporate finance related projects
Work on valuations of businesses, equity interests, intangible assets and financial instruments
Collaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality, well-documented valuation outputs
Who are we looking for?
University graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics or related disciplines
1–3 years of relevant experience in valuation, audit, M&A, transaction advisory, banking or data/financial analysis roles
Exposure to financial modelling, valuation concepts or audit-related assignments
Progress toward or intention to pursue CFA / HKICPA / ACCA
Proficiency in Excel ;
Experience in international valuation, accounting or professional services firms is a plus
Strong interest in business valuation, corporate finance or transaction advisory
Strong numerical ability with good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin (Cantonese preferred)
Detail-oriented, proactive and willing to learn in a fast-paced professional environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Willingness to undertake short business trips to mainland China as required
