Job Summary

You will engage stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver practical digital solutions that improve business processes and meet governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders and users to gather and clarify business needs, pain points, and desired outcomes
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and digitalization
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for technical teams
• Facilitate discussions to clarify requirements, priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs among stakeholders
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to shape and deliver practical solutions
• Support backlog refinement, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and commissioning activities
• Manage stakeholder expectations by identifying and communicating risks, issues, and dependencies early
• Ensure solutions comply with relevant security, data governance, and Government ICT requirements
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of products, systems, and business processes
• Work independently and take ownership of outcomes in a cross-functional Agile environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with government digital services
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
