Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer role based in Singapore. The CNC Programmer will create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for machining components used in wind energy equipment, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to technical specifications. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and machining strategies, setting up and testing CNC machines, and troubleshooting programming or machining issues. The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve cycle times, reduce waste, and maintain high safety and quality standards. The CNC Programmer will also document processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and adhere to company and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in CNC Programming and Programming for manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in Machining and Milling operations, including tool selection and setup
  • Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawing and engineering documentation
  • Experience with CNC machine controls and CAM/CAE software is highly beneficial
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in a precision manufacturing or heavy engineering environment, preferably in energy or industrial equipment
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team on-site
