Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks related to commercial and residential projects
- Assemble and install frameworks, roofing, partitions, staircases, and cabinetry
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches, or building plans
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, walls, floors, frameworks, and furniture & Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and chisels
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using measuring tools
- Ensure structures meet building codes and safety standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Work with other trades to complete construction projects
- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines
