Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of financial services clients, build strong relationships, and serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters. Daily responsibilities include understanding client requirements, coordinating with internal technical and product teams, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions and services. The role involves monitoring account performance, preparing reports, addressing issues and escalations, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling relevant products. The Account Manager will also participate in client meetings, support implementation and onboarding activities, and contribute feedback to improve Excel Force’s offerings and client experience.
Qualifications
- Client relationship management and account servicing skills, including stakeholder engagement and customer success capabilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple accounts, priorities, and issues effectively.
- Basic understanding of capital markets, stockbroking operations, and financial services, or strong interest in learning these domains.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and technical support.
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in account management, client service, or relationship management in technology or financial services is an advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment in Kuala Lumpur and willingness to attend client meetings as needed.
