Key Responsibilities

• Perform SIT, functional, integration, and regression testing for card and payment applications.
• Validate complete card lifecycle processes, including:
• Card issuance
• PIN generation/change
• Card activation
• Card replacement/re-issuance
• Hotlisting/blocking
• Card closure
• Test card transaction flows across ATM, POS, e-commerce, and contactless channels.
• Validate authorization, clearing, and settlement processes.
• Perform end-to-end testing across Card Management Systems (CMS), payment switches, and downstream/upstream systems.
• Validate transaction messages using ISO 8583.
• Work with payment switch technologies such as Base24 / IST and card platforms such as VisionPLUS, where applicable.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar.
• Analyze test failures and coordinate with developers, business teams, and other technical teams for resolution.
• Support SIT defect triage, regression testing, and UAT preparation.
• Ensure testing activities are completed according to project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA, preferably within Banking & Financial Services.
• Strong hands-on experience in SIT and Integration Testing.
• Strong understanding of Credit Card / Debit Card transaction flows.
• Experience with ATM, POS, e-commerce, and contactless transactions.
• Good understanding of ISO 8583.
• Experience with Payment Switch / Card Management Systems.
• Knowledge of authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Experience with VisionPLUS, Base24, IST, or similar card/payment platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in manual testing, regression testing, and defect management.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Banking / Cards / Payments domain experience.
• Experience working with large banking projects.
• Exposure to SIT, UAT, production validation, and end-to-end payment testing.
• Candidates currently based in Malaysia are preferred.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
