We are looking for a Director level Equity Advisory Sales professional to join our Unified Global Markets team and drive engagement with both internal Client Advisors and external Wealth Management clients across APAC.
As an Equity Advisory Sales specialist, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing timely market insights, differentiated stock ideas, and strategic investment guidance across global equity markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-conviction equity investment ideas and actionable market insights aligned with CIO views, market developments, and evolving client needs.
- Act as a trusted equity advisor to Client Advisors and Wealth Management clients, helping them identify and capitalize on investment opportunities across global equity markets.
- Drive the commercialization of equity investment themes, stock recommendations, trading ideas, and tactical market opportunities across key markets including the United States, Hong Kong/China, Japan, Europe, and other major equity markets.
- Develop compelling investment narratives around macroeconomic trends, earnings developments, sector rotations, and company-specific catalysts.
- Engage proactively with clients through meetings, calls, presentations, market updates, and investment forums to communicate investment recommendations effectively.
- Monitor market developments, earnings releases, corporate actions, and geopolitical events, assessing implications for portfolios and investment strategies.
- Collaborate closely with CIO, Research, Trading, Structured Solutions, and Sales teams to deliver holistic investment solutions and enhance client outcomes.
- Prepare high-quality investment commentaries, equity publications, thematic presentations, and marketing materials tailored to various client segments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, product governance standards, and market-specific rules across jurisdictions.

As a member of the Unified Global Markets Equity & Structured Products Distribution team in Singapore, you work in a challenging environment within a highly sophisticated & motivated team. We advise client in APAC on cross assets capital market solutions. This includes providing advisory services on equities, structured products, tailored made complex solutions to both High Net Worth (HNW) and Global Family Institutional Wealth (GFIW) clients.
Your expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. CFA designation or progress toward CFA is highly desirable.
- 5-12 years of relevant experience in Equity Advisory Sales, Equity Research, Equity Portfolio Manager, Wealth Management Investment Advisory, or Institutional Equity Sales.
- Strong passion for equity investing with demonstrated knowledge of global equity markets, sectors, investment themes, and valuation methodologies.
- Proven ability to formulate and communicate differentiated equity investment ideas and convert market insights into actionable client recommendations.
- Strong understanding of global macroeconomic trends and their impact on equity markets and portfolio positioning.
- Experience engaging internal and external clients.
- Commercially minded with a strong track record of driving client engagement, investment activity, and business growth.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex market developments for diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced market environment.
- A strong team player, capable of collaborating across functions within bank.
