As we continue to grow our LA’DERM Flagship in Petaling Jaya, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Beauty Therapist / Senior Skin Therapist to join our team.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based at the LA’DERM Flagship in Petaling Jaya.

The Senior Beauty Therapist will be responsible for providing professional skin consultations, performing facial and skin management treatments, recommending personalised treatment and homecare solutions, and building long-term relationships with clients.

We are looking for someone who goes beyond performing treatments — someone who understands skin, communicates confidently with clients, and is motivated to grow together with the LA’DERM Flagship.

For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to take on greater responsibilities and participate in the growth and performance of the Flagship.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional skin consultations and AI-assisted skin analysis

• Perform professional facial, skin management and machine-based treatments

• Assess clients’ skin conditions and concerns, and recommend personalised treatment plans

• Recommend suitable LA’DERM skincare products and homecare routines

• Monitor and follow up on clients’ skin progress

• Maintain accurate consultation, treatment and client records

• Build strong, long-term client relationships and support customer retention

• Recommend suitable treatments, packages and skincare products based on clients’ needs

• Maintain high standards of treatment quality, hygiene, safety and customer service

• Support treatment demonstrations, workshops, events and professional training activities

• Guide and mentor junior therapists when required

• Work closely with the Flagship team to achieve service, retail, customer retention and customer satisfaction targets

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in beauty therapy, professional skincare, skin management or aesthetics

• Strong skills in facial treatments, skin analysis and professional client consultation

• Good understanding of common skin concerns, including sensitivity, acne, dehydration, pigmentation and signs of aging

• Experience with professional facial machines or aesthetic equipment is an advantage

• Confident in recommending skincare products, treatment programs and homecare routines

• Good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships

• Sales experience in professional skincare products, treatments or packages is preferred

• Relevant Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics, SKM or other recognised professional certification is preferred

• Previous experience as a Senior Beauty Therapist, Skin Therapist, Beauty Consultant, Salon Supervisor or similar role will be an advantage

• Responsible, positive and able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Able to work on a scheduled roster, including weekends when required
