Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, HR documentation, attendance and leave administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in HR systems.
  • Prepare HR-related documents, reports and correspondence as required.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of confidential employee records.

2. Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Support the monthly payroll process by preparing and verifying payroll inputs, including salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, leave and other employee-related payments.
  • Verify payroll calculations and ensure timely submission of payroll information for processing.
  • Assist with CPF contributions, foreign worker levy, employee insurance and other statutory payroll-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
  • Handle employee enquiries relating to payroll, leave, benefits and other compensation-related matters.

3. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination and candidate communication.
  • Coordinate onboarding arrangements for new employees, including documentation, medical examinations, orientation and training.
  • Liaise with hiring managers and relevant departments to ensure a smooth recruitment and onboarding process.

4. Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation confirmation, transfers, promotions and offboarding.
  • Assist with employment contracts, HR letters and other employee-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee movements and changes in employment status.

5. Work Pass & Statutory Administration

  • Support the administration of employment passes and work permits, including applications, renewals, issuance and cancellation.
  • Assist with statutory submissions and maintain relevant records and documentation.
  • Support HR compliance activities in accordance with applicable Singapore employment regulations and company policies.

6. HR Support & Compliance

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining HR policies, procedures and practices.
  • Support HR reporting, audits and compliance activities.
  • Respond to employees' HR-related enquiries and provide appropriate administrative support.
  • Assist with HR projects, employee engagement activities, training coordination and other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR operations, payroll, recruitment or general HR administration.
  • Good understanding of HR operations, payroll processes and employee lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Singapore employment practices and statutory requirements will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with HRIS or payroll systems will be an advantage.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with different departments.
  • Responsible, organised and able to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally.
