Mag's Wine Kitchen is a European restaurant in Singapore since 1996, now at 82 Neil Road. It offers progressive Wafu cuisine blending Japanese techniques with wine-focused dining, evolving continually to deliver quality and convivial experiences.

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate hospitality team player with at least 2 years of restaurant experience who wants to deepen their knowledge of wines and contribute to smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient restaurant operations supporting front and back of house activities

Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service that enhances guest satisfaction during each visit

Manage daily restaurant tasks to ensure smooth service flow and operational readiness

Apply wine knowledge to assist in service and enrich the overall customer experience

Required competencies and certifications

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a restaurant

Since 1996, Mag's Wine Kitchen has been a constant presence in Singapore's dining scene — not because it stayed the same, but because it never stopped evolving. What began as a French restaurant grew into a modern European kitchen over the years, shaped by changing tastes, new chefs, and a willingness to rethink itself when the moment called for it.

In 2025, that spirit of reinvention took its boldest turn yet. Mag's Wine Kitchen moved to a new home on Neil Road and introduced Wafu, a concept that draws on Japanese technique and sensibility while staying true to the restaurant's roots in wine and conviviality. The name itself — "Wafu," meaning Japanese-style — signals an approach rather than a fixed menu: a way of treating ingredients with restraint, letting quality speak for itself, and pairing dishes thoughtfully with wine rather than treating the two as separate pursuits.
