JB Cocoa Hiring! Full Time Demand Planning Executive in Johor - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Demand Planning Executive to be responsible for demand and supply planning activities to ensure optimal production availability, efficient production planning and maintain high order fulfillment. This role develops production plans, manages stock allocation based on customer requirements, and supports the monthly S&OP process.

The position works closely with Contract Management, Sales, Customer Service, Production, QA, Logistics and Procurement team to manage the demand and transfer order (inter-plant), maintaining inventory level, monitoring production output, manage the additives and packaging materials, balance demand and supply, and coordinating on production delays or quality issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and develop a 2-month firmed production plan for local and overseas manufacturing plants.
• Coordinate with Production Planners to translate firmed plans into daily production schedules.
• Monitor demand versus supply positions and proactively address potential shortages, excess inventory or supply constraints.
• Follow up daily production output and communicate with Logistics and Sales & Marketing team on any production delay and product on hold due to quality issue.
• Manage tolling products and ensure supply availability to meet customer requirements.
• Optimize production allocation across local and overseas plants to maximize capacity utilization.
• Manage the SO/STO orders and supplying plant allocation in SAP.
• Attend to demand related enquiries, including additional demand and prompt sales in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain Process Orders in SAP to support production execution.
• Work with Customer Service for stock allocation to Delivery Orders based on customer specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate production plan changes and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
• Closely monitor PSS requirements to ensure stocks and lot readiness for customer deliveries.
• Work closely with procurement to ensure sufficient supply of additives and packaging materials through Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Create Purchase Requisitions (PR) in SAP based on production plans and S&OP cycle.
• Support product lifecycle management activities, including new material code creation, new product introductions, product transfers, product changes, and phase-in/phase-out planning.
• Prepare monthly S&OP meeting materials, tolling reports, and demand-supply analysis.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning, or Inventory Management.
• Experience in a manufacturing and Commodity environment are preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
