We are seeking a Senior Software Consultant with 15+ years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development, cloud solution architecture, and digital transformation within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable technology solutions, modernizing legacy applications, and leading cloud-native application development using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Lead the modernization of legacy Java applications and migration to microservices architecture.
• Architect and implement distributed systems using AWS EKS, ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Design event-driven architectures using Kafka, Amazon MSK, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
• Develop secure REST APIs and enterprise integrations using Spring Boot and Spring Security.
• Lead cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Drive CI/CD automation using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Design data solutions using Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, and Redis.
• Provide technical leadership for banking applications covering Core Banking, Payments, KYC/AML, and Wealth Management.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical documentation, solution design, and engineering teams.
• Support application performance optimization, automated testing, security, and regulatory compliance.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of experience in Java Application Development and Solution Architecture.
• Strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Microservices Architecture.
• Extensive experience in AWS Cloud Architecture, including EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and SQL.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance technology projects.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, architecture governance, and enterprise application modernization.
