Northern Solar Hiring! Full Time O-M Technician - Penang in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 3,500 - Ricebowl

• Perform preventative maintenance on solar panels, inverters, and other system components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as electrical faults, panel malfunctions, and inverter failures.
• Replace faulty components, including wiring, panels, or inverters, as needed.
• Clean and inspect solar panels to remove dirt, debris, and other obstructions that could affect performance.
• Inspect electrical components for signs of wear, corrosion, or damage.
• Diagnose and address operational issues, such as poor energy production or electrical faults.
• Collaborate with other team members and engineers to resolve complex technical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and performance data.
• Document and update technical issues and solutions for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety protocols when working with electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and ladders.
• Perform work in accordance with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
• Install upgrades or modifications to improve the efficiency or capacity of solar systems.
• To supervise the works of contractors where required.
• Any other ad-hoc duties related to solar as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in Solar Energy Industry will be added advantage
• Possess Working at Height (WAH) certificate and CIDB will be added advantage
• Possess a PW4 certification will be added advantage
• Independent, Self-Initiative, Responsible & Committed personality
• Possess own transport & willing to heavy traveling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
