Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Pastry Chef located in Kuala Lumpur. The Assistant Pastry Chef will assist in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries, chocolates, and desserts. Day-to-day tasks include ingredient preparation, baking, tempering chocolate, decorating desserts, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The role also involves collaborating with the head chef to develop new recipes and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry and chocolate production, including baking and tempering chocolate
• Skills in dessert decoration and presentation
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Creativity and a passion for creating high-quality desserts
• Relevant culinary certification or degree is a plus
• Previous experience in a high-end pastry or chocolate production environment is a plus
