Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

You will lead quantity surveying activities for façade projects, delivering accurate cost estimates, managing procurement, and controlling project budgets to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, and project specifications to identify façade work requirements and scope

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, tender pricing, and complete tender submissions to support project bidding

Source materials by obtaining and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to prepare cost comparisons

Develop costing summaries, procurement schedules, and subcontractor packages to facilitate project planning and execution

Assist in negotiating, appointing, and awarding subcontractor contracts to secure competitive and compliant agreements

Monitor project costs against approved budgets and recommend corrective actions to address cost overruns promptly

Manage project variations by assessing cost and time impacts, preparing quotations, and negotiating with clients and subcontractors

Assess subcontractors’ progress claims, prepare payment certificates, and finalize accounts to ensure accurate financial tracking

Verify submission of required subcontractor bonds, warranties, and supporting documents to maintain contract compliance

Prepare regular cost reports and perform additional duties as assigned to support project management and decision-making

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Diploma, Degree, or higher in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience in façade, curtain wall, cladding, glazing, or building-envelope projects

Proficient in reading construction drawings and preparing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions

Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills demonstrated in project contexts

Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines
