Job Summary

Responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation of company personnel, goods, documents, and materials. The Driver is also responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition and supporting the company with delivery, collection, and other driving-related duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive company vehicles for transportation of staff, goods, documents, and materials.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery to designated locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.
• Monitor vehicle servicing, maintenance, road tax, insurance, and other relevant requirements.
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, deliveries, and vehicle usage.
• Ensure goods and materials are properly secured and handled safely during transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Plan routes efficiently and use GPS/navigation applications when necessary.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents promptly to the supervisor.
• Perform collection, purchasing, delivery, and other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / equivalent qualification.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence with the appropriate driving class.
• Valid GDL (Goods Driving Licence) is preferred.
• Previous experience as a company, delivery, dispatch, or commercial driver is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of local roads and traffic conditions.
• Good driving record with no serious traffic offences.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
