About the role
This traineeship is designed for individuals who are keen to enter the aviation industry but do not yet meet the technical prerequisites for an aircraft engine technician role. Upon successful completion of the 12-month structured training programme, you will progress into a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician role with the company.
Responsibilities
Attend a three-month classroom programme that includes both theoretical and practical modules conducted by an external training academy.
Complete a nine-month OJT attachment to learn and work on Rolls-Royce Trent engines under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Upon completion of the traineeship, serve a two-year bond with the company as a qualified Aircraft Engine Technician.
Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul aircraft engines
Perform operational checks on aircraft systems
Requirements
NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (eg. Aeronautical/ Avionics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing/ Electrical/ Precision Engineering)
Able to work rotating shifts
No prior work experience required - candidates without work experience are encouraged to apply
Work Schedule
Morning Shift: 6:30am-4:15pm ; Afternoon Shift: 4pm-1:45am
Working days: 2 morning, 2 afternoon, off, rest
