Role Overview

FORGED by ReFormd is looking for an Exercise Specialist / Performance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality performance testing and translating physiological and biomechanical data into actionable training interventions. It combines advanced assessment execution and applied coaching to support measurable client outcomes, alongside front-of-house studio operations and client-facing sales.

We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in sport science (or a related field) and a genuine interest in both the technical and commercial sides of the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Testing

• Conduct metabolic testing (VO₂max, lactate threshold), VALD strength/force diagnostics, gait analysis, and other performance assessments
• Follow all testing protocols, calibration standards, and SOPs to ensure accurate, reliable data

2. Data Interpretation & Delivery

• Analyse performance data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
• Communicate results clearly to support understanding and behavioural change
• Recommend the right interventions and service pathways to support client retention

3. Appointments, Events & Operations

• Manage scheduling for client appointments, testing slots, consultations, and follow-ups
• Help plan, set up, run, and break down studio events, workshops, and promotional activations
• Maintain accurate client records, appointment logs, and documentation
• Support general studio upkeep, equipment care, and inventory management
• Attend team meetings and training sessions, and follow through on action items

4. Product Development & Sales

• Contribute ideas to new performance testing products, packages, and service offerings
• Promote and sell performance testing services to existing and prospective clients
• Work toward individual and team sales targets
• Support the design and execution of sales and marketing initiatives

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or higher certification in sport science-related field
• Solid knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics and training program design
• Experience with performance testing equipment, such as metabolic testing tools
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and data interpretation ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and studio management platforms
• Comfortable working with data, metrics, percentages, and commission structures
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders
• A warm, professional, energetic client-facing manner
• A genuine commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Personally active as an athlete or regularly engaged in structured training/exercise

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
