About the role

Camino International Limited is seeking a dynamic and organised Assistant Project Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. This is a full-timeposition offering an excellent opportunity to develop your career inproduction planning and scheduling within the manufacturing, transport andlogistics sector. As Assistant Project Manager, you will support thecoordination and execution of projects whilst gaining valuable experience inproject management methodologies, team collaboration, and operationalexcellence. This role is integral to ensuring projects are delivered on time,within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting in the planning, scheduling and coordination of productionprojects from initiation through to completion

  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of project schedules,timelines and resource allocation plans

  • Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays or bottlenecks, escalating issues to senior management as required

  • Liaising with internal teams, including production, logistics and qualityassurance, to ensure seamless project execution

  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, records and reports for auditand compliance purposes

  • Assisting in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

  • Supporting the senior project management team in budget tracking andcost control activities

  • Coordinating with external suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

  • Contributing to health, safety and environmental compliance across all project activities

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a marketing coordination, project coordination, or similar administrative support role within marketing or communications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Project planning software

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions

  • Team player mentality with a collaborative approach to working across departments

  • Knowledge of production planning, scheduling methodologies and manufacturing processes

  • Familiarity with Hong Kong's regulatory and compliance requirements in manufacturing and logistics

  • Previous experience in production planning, scheduling or a relatedlogistics role is advantageous but not essential
