Job Description
- Group Consolidation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and report to HQ in Korea.
- Prepare quarterly consolidated reporting package.
- Review overseas subsidiaries accounts.
- Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, ensure elimination entries are accurately recorded.
- Support external audit and internal audit requirements relating to consolidated accounts.
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Assist in preparation of monthly forecasts and long-range financial plans.
- Analyse monthly financial performance and identify key variances and trends.
- Reporting & Process Improvement
- Assist in process improvement, system enhancements, and finance-related projects to increase operational efficiency.
- Assist in the group policy and process improvements.
- Support statutory reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management to support business needs.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
- Candidates currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification will also be considered.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation, group reporting and FP&A.
- Experience in shipyard/construction industry preferred.
- Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tight deadlines.
