Responsibilities

• Support the Solution Architect – General Insurance (GI) in developing and delivering solutions to meet business needs.

• Work closely with the GI team to provide solutions and application support for General Insurance-related IT applications.

• Collaborate with the GI delivery manager to develop and implement applications that support business requirements.

• Liaise with infrastructure support and development teams to ensure effective application delivery and support.

• Oversee Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, ensuring the stability and efficiency of company applications.

• Collaborate with users and vendors to promptly address and resolve application issues, minimizing operational disruptions.

• Work with the infrastructure team to test and complete server and network upgrade projects.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• Diploma or Degree holder in Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent.

• 2–4 years of experience in Application Development or technical project coordination.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.

• Good understanding of infrastructure and software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.

• Understanding of software development life cycle models, including Waterfall and Agile.

• Knowledge of Linux/Windows environments.

• Experience with React JS, Spring Boot, Oracle DB, MS SQL DB, and SDLC processes.

• Comfortable communicating in both English and Mandarin.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with Linux and Unix environments.

• Experience working with vendors to resolve complex technical issues.

• Insurance domain knowledge.

• Any Cloud certification.
