What You'll Do:
Support the Technical Master Data (TMD) function in maintaining and administering accurate and reliable master data records for utility services. The role is responsible for the creation, amendment, validation, investigation and maintenance of premise, installation and connection-related records while ensuring compliance with established business processes and regulatory requirements.
The incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, support operational requirements and ensure the integrity of master data used across business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Master Data Operations
Technical Master Data Operations
- Create, amend and maintain technical master data records, including premises, installations, connection objects and related service records.
- Perform validation checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency across systems.
- Process requests relating to premise creation, amendments, withdrawals and regularisation activities.
- Investigate and resolve master data discrepancies, errors and exceptions in a timely manner.
Case Investigation and Resolution
- Conduct detailed investigations using internal systems, historical records, geospatial tools and supporting documents to identify and resolve data issues.
- Analyse complex cases involving premise identification, address discrepancies and installation records.
- Recommend appropriate resolutions and provide supporting evidence to stakeholders.
- Escalate issues where necessary and follow through until closure.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage and respond to email requests and enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with government agencies, service providers, customers and internal business units on master data-related matters.
- Coordinate and follow up on outstanding cases to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide clarifications and guidance on TMD processes and requirements.
Site Check Coordination
- Coordinate site investigations with internal teams and external parties when verification of premise information is required.
- Review site findings and update records accordingly.
- Ensure proper documentation and closure of site-check cases.
Process Improvement and Operational Support
- Identify process gaps, operational issues and data quality concerns.
- Propose practical improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Support ad-hoc projects, business initiatives and operational activities assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain proper documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
