Key Responsibilities
- Develop Instrumentation & Control (I&C) engineering deliverables, including datasheets, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all I&C designs comply with project specifications, budgets, applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL studies, technical reviews, and design clarification meetings.
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical proposals, and recommend suitable vendors and suppliers for I&C systems.
- Manage I&C change orders while ensuring timely project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), inspections, and commissioning activities for PLC/HMI panels and instrumentation.
- Coordinate closely with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping Engineers to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide technical support throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Support tender preparation, engineering proposals, and cost estimation activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) engineering design.
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects will be highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of instrumentation devices including:
- Sensors
- Transmitters
- Control valves
- Actuators
- Flow meters
- Knowledge of instrument installation and commissioning.
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and industrial control systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Willing to travel overseas on short notice when required.
Preferred Skills
- HAZOP and SIL participation experience.
- PLC/HMI systems knowledge.
