Senior Backend Engineers

What you will be doing:

• Design and develop backend services to ensure scalability and high performance
• Design and optimise database
• Ownership over end-to-end delivery for technical projects

What we are looking for:

• Strong proficiency and knowledge in Java (Design Patterns, OOP, SOLID Principals, Multithreading, etc) and Spring Boot
• Demonstrable ability to design and build scalable backend systems

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems architecture
• Prior banking and/or fintech experiences

Solution Architects

What you will be doing:

• Design end-to-end architectures for mission critical payments services (API gateways, tokenisation frameworks, etc) to support national transaction volume
• Own the payment system security architecture (such as HSM integration, cryptographic key management, mutual TLS, OAuth 2.0, and API authorisation frameworks)
• Lead the architecture design for brownfield modernisation, including legacy system decomposition, database re-platforming, API-first transformation, etc

What we are looking for:

• End-to-end ownership over financial transaction systems (requirements to production)
• Knowledge of distributed system architecture, API design and governance, event-drive and asynchronous messaging patterns
• Deep understanding of security architecture
• Experience working in cloud of hybrid infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Java

Good to Have

• Experience architecting real-time payment systems
• Working knowledge of at least one major payment standard: ISO 20022, ISO 8583, or EMVCo specifications
• Experience within banking or fintech experience
• Cross-border payment architecture
