YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ABB is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship program. This role offers hands-on exposure across project engineering, analyzer and instrument services, and operational excellence initiatives. You will work alongside experienced engineers and service professionals, gaining practical industry experience while contributing to real projects and process improvement initiatives in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Support project engineering activities by assisting Project Managers and Engineers with project execution, technical documentation, milestone tracking, reporting, and coordination of project deliverables.
Assist the Service Team in analyzer and instrument maintenance activities, including calibration, troubleshooting, inspections, service documentation, and customer support activities.
Collaborate with operations teams to understand daily workflows, identify process improvement opportunities, and support operational efficiency initiatives.
Develop and implement automation tools, dashboards, scripts, or other digital solutions to streamline repetitive tasks, improve data visibility, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply engineering concepts in a practical environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated interest in process improvement, digitalization, and automation, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
Familiarity with AI, automation, or data analytics tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, Python, VBA, Power Apps, or similar technologies, with the ability to develop solutions that simplify operational processes.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, integrity, and professionalism in line with ABB's values.
