Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Riser Engineer to support offshore oil & gas projects across Concept Studies, FEED, Detailed Design, and EPCI phases. The successful candidate will lead riser engineering activities, perform advanced analysis, support project execution, and provide technical leadership within multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead riser engineering design and analysis activities for conceptual, FEED, and detailed design projects.
• Perform and review:
• Fatigue Analysis
• Strength Analysis
• Installation Analysis
• Clash Analysis
• Wall Thickness Design
• Component Design
• Riser Configuration Design
• Develop and review riser analysis models and engineering calculations.
• Prepare engineering reports, design basis documents, specifications, and procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams, fabrication, procurement, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
• Review vendor documentation and support technical bid evaluations.
• Participate in design reviews, audits, offshore surveys, and technical meetings.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and manpower forecasting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 15-20 years of Oil & Gas experience, preferably in offshore projects.
• Strong experience in riser engineering design, analysis and project execution.
• Proficient in riser engineering tools, analysis methodologies and industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of API, DNV, ISO and ASME standards related to riser engineering.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing technical interfaces across disciplines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Contract: 12 Months Renewable
