Our Client

Our client is a global leader in data centre infrastructure and tech distribution, providing essential products that keep mission‑critical facilities running. As part of their expansion in Malaysia, they are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to support major accounts and drive their growth initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders via email and phone, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Communicate with clients on product availability, stock status, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare quotations and follow up to convert opportunities into sales.
• Support procurement teams by sourcing consumables from multiple suppliers.
• Excel reporting — pivot tables, v‑lookups for data analysis and tracking.
• Relationship management — maintain strong ties with clients and suppliers to drive repeat business.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, or Sales Administration.
• Exposure to tech products or data centre consumables (cables, connectors, PPE, batteries, filters, etc.).
• Proven ability to prospect, promote products/services, and develop new business.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve routine customer/order issues independently.
• Genuinely passionate about sales — not just going through the motions.
• Some technology background required; data centre experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working towards a quarterly sales target/KPI (SIT).
