Role Description The Sales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in WP Kuala Lumpur. This role involves identifying and pursuing sales opportunities for vacuum pumps and air-moving technologies, preparing quotations, and conducting product presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing customers. The Sales Engineer will provide technical consultation, select suitable products based on application requirements, and collaborate with the service team to ensure proper installation, commissioning, and after-sales support. Daily responsibilities include managing customer inquiries, maintaining relationships through regular visits and follow-ups, updating sales pipelines and reports, and staying informed on product developments and market trends. The role requires close coordination with internal teams to meet customer deadlines and deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand industrial applications and recommend suitable vacuum solutions.
• Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including lead generation, negotiation, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in industrial equipment, vacuum systems, or related technologies is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site, conduct customer visits, and manage time and territory efficiently.
• Comfort with basic office software and CRM tools for documentation and reporting.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively within a sales and service team.
• Malaysian citizen.
