Job Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers (design, development, or production-based)
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects
• Drive process improvements, engineering standards, and best practices
• Review and approve technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering change requests
• Collaborate with product, QA, manufacturing, and operations teams to align engineering goals
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Monitor performance metrics, resource allocation, and productivity of the engineering team
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, yield, downtime, and cost reduction
• Manage budgets, tools, and timelines for projects
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering challenges
• Recruit, train, and evaluate engineering staff performance
• Any other task assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• 5+ years of engineering experience with 1–3 years in a managerial or lead role
• Strong leadership, team-building, and people management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in engineering software/tools relevant to the field (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies

Pay: RM6,110.97 - RM15,189.85 per month
