Our client is a well-established Malaysian company specialising in sanitaryware and bathroom solutions, serving the construction and building materials industry. The company is currently expanding its operations and seeking an experienced Order Management Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end order fulfilment process, from order receipt and processing through delivery and final closure.
• Monitor customer orders, inventory availability, delivery schedules and order status to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance teams to resolve order-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Identify potential delays, stock shortages and fulfilment risks, and take proactive measures to minimise customer impact.
• Manage escalated customer and internal order issues, ensuring timely communication and effective resolution.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams and logistics partners to ensure product availability and delivery according to customer requirements.
• Monitor key operational KPIs, including order accuracy, fulfilment lead time, backlog and on-time delivery performance.
• Review and continuously improve order processing workflows, procedures and service levels to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate documentation, system updates and order records throughout the fulfilment cycle.
• Prepare and analyse operational reports covering order status, backlog, delivery performance and other fulfilment KPIs.
• Lead, coach and develop the order fulfilment team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high service standards.
• Support management in developing and implementing SOPs, process improvements and operational strategies.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in order fulfilment, order management, supply chain, logistics or operations, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end order fulfilment and supply chain processes.
• Hands-on experience with ERP, order management or inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience in data analysis and reporting is an advantage.
• Experience in sanitaryware, construction, retail, distribution or project-based businesses will be an added advantage.
