Responsibilities
Job Summary
Manage project execution by coordinating site activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in the metal roofing and construction industry.
Responsibilities
Analyze tender and construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine project requirements and deliverables
Coordinate daily project activities on site to execute the project plan effectively and meet deadlines
Monitor project progress and schedules to ensure timely completion and adjust plans as needed
Liaise with authorities to prepare and submit permits and licenses required for project execution
Collaborate with consultants, clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project implementation
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards while maintaining compliance with safety objectives
Attend site meetings and inspections to monitor progress and report findings accurately
Prepare and submit monthly project status reports to track milestones and issues
Develop and submit method statements detailing work procedures for approval and safe execution
Provide regular updates on schedules, manpower, equipment, and resource status to the Project Manager
Required competencies and certifications
Degree or Diploma in structural, civil, quantity surveying, building services engineering, or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience in metal roofing, structural, or construction industry
Knowledge of local government safety requirements, rules, and regulations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Strong leadership skills demonstrated by managing project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders
Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse project participants and report progress clearly
