A technology-forward organisation is looking for an AI Security Analyst to sit at the intersection of security and AI engineering. You'll be the security lens on the organisation's growing use of large language models (LLMs) and AI tools, working alongside AI Engineers from design through deployment to make sure security is never an afterthought.
Beyond AI-specific risk, you'll bring core application security testing discipline to the table, running static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST) across the wider application estate, not just AI systems.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate LLMs and AI tools for security risk before and during deployment, covering areas such as data handling, model behaviour, and third-party AI service risk
- Partner closely with AI Engineers throughout the build lifecycle, embedding security requirements into AI system design rather than testing after the fact
- Run and interpret SAST and DAST scans across applications, triaging findings and working with development teams on remediation
- Identify and assess AI-specific vulnerabilities and misuse scenarios (for example prompt injection, data leakage, unsafe tool access)
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the evolving AI security threat landscape and feed it into internal standards and testing practices
- Document findings and risk assessments in a form that's usable by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
About you
- Experience in application security, with hands-on exposure to SAST and DAST tooling
- Genuine interest in or working knowledge of AI/LLM security, comfortable engaging with AI Engineers on technical design trade-offs
- Strong analytical mindset, able to assess novel AI-related risks without an established playbook to follow
- Clear communicator, able to translate technical security findings into practical guidance
