Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day procedures and operations of the Reservations Department to ensure a seamless booking and arrival experience

Manage telephone, email and fax enquiries in a prompt, courteous and professional customer service at all times, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in accordance with company standards without delay

Fully knowledgeable about all hotel products, like guest rooms, rates and promotions, hotel facilities and programs. Assist on managing room availability, rate or booking integration issues to maximize hotel occupancy and average daily rate

Ensure reservation policies and procedures are set-up and followed properly

Assist in creating and managing rates, packages and other configuration in the hotel system

Track and manage reservations across all channels, including hotel website, OTAs, GDS, third parties, etc., ensuring rate parity are maintained

Manage and perform other reservation duties as requested by management

Requirements:
High School Graduate with an emphasis on hospitality and tourism. College degree or equivalent preferred

2 years or above luxury hospitality experience in reservation department

Excellent communication skills and high levels of written and spoken English. Proficient in Mandarin is a plus

Knowledge of multiple reservation system and applications like property management system, booking engine, OTA extranets, etc.

Understanding of third party website, travel agent and corporate guests’ booking behaviour and process

Courage to tackle challenges & ambitious to find ways to motivate

Details oriented, judgmental, decision making & communication skills

Service oriented mind-set, passionate in customer service, actively looking for ways to enhance customer experience

Shift duty is required
