Job Overview

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with a strong focus on security solutions design and implementation. This role will be responsible for delivering end-to-end network security solutions, working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performing architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end network security solutions across enterprise environments
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure architecture and solution designs
• Lead deployment and integration of security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation controls
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across network environments
• Provide technical consultancy and solution recommendations to internal teams and clients
• Perform solution validation, testing, and optimization to ensure performance and security effectiveness
• Work on network segmentation, zero trust concepts, and secure access design
• Support pre- and post-implementation activities including solution documentation and handover
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and implement new security technologies
• Act as a technical SME for network security solutions and guide junior engineers

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in network security with strong focus on solutioning and implementation
• Proven experience in designing and deploying network security architectures
• Strong hands-on expertise in firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Cisco / Juniper)
• Experience in VPN design, network segmentation, and secure access solutions
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and secure network architecture principles
• Experience in solution design documentation and technical proposal development
• Ability to engage stakeholders and provide technical consultation

Good to Have

• Experience with Zero Trust / SASE / SD-WAN security architectures
• Exposure to cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) or CASB solutions
• Experience with load balancers and application delivery security (F5, NSX-T, Avi)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, NSE, PCNSE, Security+)

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
