QA TESTER (MANUFACTURING / TESTING)

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Location: Kota Damansara, Selangor

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Tester to support quality inspection, testing, and commissioning activities for electrical, electronic, and control systems.

The role covers factory testing, FAT/SAT, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and preparation of testing and QA/QC documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with continuity, point-to-point, I/O, functional, and basic electrical testing.
• Support FAT and SAT preparation and testing.
• Inspect components, wiring, labelling, and workmanship against approved drawings and requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and carry out quality inspections.
• Identify, record, and report defects and non-conformances.
• Assist with troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Prepare test checklists, test reports, and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Project teams on quality matters.
• Attend site testing and commissioning activities when required.
• Follow the company's ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in QA/QC, testing, manufacturing, or engineering is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand electrical and technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with basic test equipment such as a multimeter.
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel for site testing and commissioning when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
