Dear Candidate,
Thank you for your interest in joining The Winstedt School for next academic year, where our Mission is to ‘redefine the possibilities of education for those who learn differently’.
This is a tremendously exciting time to be joining us as we look to embark on the next chapter of the School’s development, building on what is an already unique learning community for young people who learn differently.
About Us
The Winstedt School (TWS) is an independent, accredited school for children and young adults from Reception to Year 13. TWS is a place where students who think and learn differently thrive and fulfil their learning potential in an environment that is welcoming and inclusive.
Our specialised and dedicated teachers, therapists, psychologists, and counsellors create individualised, active and multi-sensory learning where expectations respect every child’s learning profile. Our students blossom in small classes, igniting an interest to learn and a drive to succeed.
Education is not a one-size fits all model.
We feel passionately that every student is entitled to an aspirational, nurturing and inspiring learning environment, with teaching tailored to how each learns best.
Here at TWS we take this to a whole new level. We remove the barriers and limitations that are all too often placed on young people, particularly those with specific learning differences, while fostering an enjoyment of learning, helping to inspire skills that will support them through life.
We understand that the surest route for every student to a rewarding and successful school experience is a sense of personal achievement. In providing this, we can help our young people build the confidence, skills knowledge and ultimately the self-belief necessary to become happy and productive global citizens.
If you would like to join our incredible team of educators doing extraordinary things, and you feel you meet our requirements, then we would love to hear from you!
